The DAN Instructor Program
The Divers Alert Network (DAN) Instructor Course is a comprehensive program designed for the dive professional to take the traditional CPR and First Aid programs to a wider breadth of training to also address key considerations in dive safety and emergency management. Throughout the program, you will engage in detailed study and practical application of emergency care with extra focus given to diving factors. These include, but are not limited to, the management of dive-related injuries, neuro assessment, oxygen first aid for scuba diving injuries, hazardous marine life injuries, and basic life support. The curriculum is grounded in the latest medical and educational methodologies to ensure that instructors are well-prepared to deliver high-quality training.
Upon successful completion of our DAN Instructor Course, you will be able to offer and certify students in the entire DAN safety and first aid curriculum.
For those who are already DAN Instructors, you can become a DAN Instructor Trainer with our on-staff DAN Instructor Examiner.
DAN certifications are recognized worldwide and significantly bolster your credentials. Being a DAN Instructor/Trainer not only amplifies your career opportunities but also positions you as an advocate for dive safety, empowering you to make a meaningful difference in the dive community’s well-being.
