The Aquarius Dive Shop PADI Assistant Instructor Course marks a transitional step in the journey of professional dive educators, bridging the gap between Divemaster and Open Water Scuba Instructor. This comprehensive program is designed to give you the tools to take on a more substantial educational leadership role in diver education as a credentialed PADI Assistant Instructor. You learn to teach in the Confined Water, Open Water, and Classroom. Once you are a PADI Assistant Instructor, you can teach certain PADI programs independently and assist Instructors in conducting a wide range of PADI Courses.
If you’re unsure if you want to fully commit to the role of Instructor, this is an excellent midpoint. If you choose to create your path to become a PADI Instructor in incremental steps; this is that first step; when you’re ready, you’ll already have met the requirement to transition to complete the PADI OWSI portion of the PADI IDC/IE.
